Must have experience in selling steel wire rope in various sectors such construction, marine, offshore/onshore, elevators, bridges, mining, port crane, mobile crane, docks etc. must have B. Tech. degree.
Actively involve in setting SMART objective and ensure its alignment, organization wide objective.
Responsible for annual budget, and resource planning (manpower and other resources).
Responsible for market analysis such as market segmentation, targeting, product positioning, and explore ways to enter in new market (region wise for same sector) and analyze economic, political and technological factors.
Update, maintain and analyze customer data base (current customer, potential customer, lost customer)
Evaluate competitor (direct/indirect competitor and rivals), (their overall market share and customer wise share).
Maintain and evaluate sales forecasting and trend analysis.
Close deals by educating customer about quality and reliability factors.
Update USP every time with market updated knowledge and your own initiative.
Sound information about own market share and market growth pattern.
Provides direction and leadership to the back office
Establishes and evaluates selling prices with the management by monitoring costs, competition, supply and demand.
Prepares and completes action plans by implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.
Conducts technical presentation to the clients and educate clients especially for quality.
Communicate with the sales team to ensure the achievement of sales objectives and common goals.
Provide feedback and constant update to the top management
Bachelor in engineering and Master degree preferably MBA-marketing.
5 years plus experience in similar industry (engineering, construction, marine, crane, elevator and offshore/onshore).
Product knowledge (wire rope, synthetic rope, chains, blocks, shakle, spreader beam, links, anchor, gears, hooks, loads binder, screw, slings, winches, pallet & fork lift and lubricant)
Previous achievement records (bonus, incentive, award, appreciation letter).
Excellent presentation and analysis skills.
