    Welcome patients in the MSF facility , inform them about how the facility functions, and ensure the availability of a comfortable waiting area for them and their relatives.
    Ensure good flow of patients avoiding overcrowded rooms and having patients standing up for long time while waiting for their turn
    Bring any patient with an obviously serious medical problem to the attention of the triage nurse/doctor.
    Identify patients and register their administrative details: The associated activities are, amongst others:
    o Create and update files for patients according to protocols, and ensure maintaining and filing system in good condition.
    o File lab test results in individual patient files as soon as they are received from the lab.
    o Ensure, maintain and promote confidentiality regarding all information registered.
    Keep record of daily attendance, exits (cured, defaulter, death or transfer), and collaborate with the outreach team in their tracing of defaulters to ensure they come back.
    the regimen change files to be given to the data entry operators for daily data entry.
    any files for discussion will be kept in the doctors rack.

    Ensuring all case papers, new blank patient files and patient booklets are ready to be given to new /old follow-up patients during consultation for doctors to write their notes accordingly.
    Consumption record of documents and placing order for the same to the Nurse Supervisor.
    Report daily to the Supervisor about daily/weekly admissions, defaulters.

    To perform any other tasks as required by your Supervisor/Line Manager
    To maintain a flexible approach and responds to the needs of the project even if outside of this job description

    Qualifications

    Education
    Minimum Higher secondary School
    Experience Clerical Experience in medical field/Ngo sector will be an added advantage
    Languages English, Hindi and Marathi( spoken and written)
    Knowledge Desirable knowledge of basic medical terminologies and basic mathematics.

    Ability to organize and prioritize workload & taking initiative when appropriate
    Good spoken & written English; Essential good understanding of local language(s)
    Able to integrate into a multi-cultural team and cooperate with co-workers
